Full details regarding the posting of emails sent to us:

  1. Emails may be posted on our sites with name, age, and location unless you request otherwise. For example, "Jill, 16, from Montréal, Québec, Canada", or "S., age 14, Kentucky, U.S."

  2. The site's terms of use apply to this section. Where there is any discrepancy between these "full details" and the terms of use, the terms of use will apply.

  3. You are free to express your views and thoughts, and your views do not have to agree with ours in order to be published. However, please do so in a way which is respectful of others and their views. Emails which are rude or disrespectful may be rejected entirely. Secondly, because the goal of this site is to be helpful to Christian youth who have questions about same-sex attraction, the posting of emails will be subject to that goal.

  4. To prevent reconnecting.ca from becoming an advertisement for other sites and services, specific website addresses, phone numbers, etc., will usually be deleted from emails before they are posted.

  5. Swearing and sexual details will also be edited out before emails are posted.

  9. We reserve the right to decline to post emails at our discretion. Emails that are posted may be removed or left on at the discretion of the webmaster. If you send us more than one email, the second and subsequent emails will be posted at the discretion of the webmaster.

  10. For security reasons, we request and receive "remote address" and "remote host" information from our server. This information will only be used to investigate abuse of our service, or as required for legal or police matters.
